Catching you up!

Ok, sorry we didn’t do this sooner, but we have a lot of catching up to do. Jonathan and I got married Dec 17th, in 2006. We spent our honeymoon in London, England.

(More pictures to follow shortly)

We took a trip to Florida with Charity and Jimmy. By the way, Florida is beautiful. I would suggest going to all those that have not been, and probably for those that already have. We are so happy to have such awesome family in Miami! We can’t wait to go again! Jonathan has been working really hard this past year on his degree and with the family business, Pinal Excavation. He will be going to ASU soon to finish his bachelor’s. I am still working for State Farm and a few months ago got a job with our Claim Automation department! (It is the department that assists claims personnel with their software programs.) I couldn’t have asked for a better job right now. I work with a great team of people and have been learning a lot. We bought a new car. But I will let Jonathan go over that. I don’t want to steal his thunder. After all he now has a wife and 2 babies. (His Jeep and his car) For more recent news, we just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. For our anniversary, my wonderful husband took me to the Mesa, AZ temple to be sealed for time and all eternity! So it would seem he still loves me! It was a wonderful and beautiful sealing. Almost our whole family was in town so both sides of the family finally got to meet! Our after sealing celebration was exactly as I wanted it to be. Both of our families and many of our friends met around our big fire at the Griffin family farmhouse on hay bails and blankets while eating pork, and other barbecue like foods. We had hot chocolate and people had so much fun that they actually stayed longer than the 10-20 minute minimum you have to stay at wedding receptions in order to make your official showing. I think people were actually able to relax and just have a good time. I can’t imagine a night better than that. And to bring you up to present day Jonathan and I are taking a French class together. Jonathan is taking on a pretty heavy load this semester, so the fact that he made the decision to take the class with me is really great! Anyway, I will conclude this post now. More updates later!
