My family came into town!!

Yeah I know this is really late. But I am sure everyone is used to it by now. I am always a few months behind on my posts. This time I did have a bit of an excuse. Our computer has been causing us problems and we ended up having to wipe it. Ugh! Not something we were hoping for, but it is working much better now. Thankfully we didn’t lose anything too important. Just lost time is all. Of course the computer problems only accounts for maybe 3 weeks of the backup, but we can all just pretend it can account for all of the time.
OK so back in March my family was able to come into town. We had so much fun! As part of their trip here they brought both mine and Jonathan’s birthday present here. It was way more than we could have really asked for, but we have really been enjoying it. Also, Catey, my parents and I had a lot of fun exploring together.
We were really excited to go to Sedona together. We got to hike one of Jonathan and my favorite trails. Unfortunately Jonathan couldn’t come with us, but it was a lot of fun despite that sad fact. Here are some pictures from the trail. Not sure why I didn’t get any pictures of my family.

We ate at a lot of different places like In & Out Burger, Red Robin and our favorite Caffe Boa. Here is a picture of all of us with some of our friends and their family at Caffe Boa.
We had a ton of fun. Instead of eating dessert at Caffe Boa we decided to go to a local frozen custard place here called “Neilsen’s Frozen Custard.” It’s where all the Mormons go on date night. Here are a few pictures of that.
And speaking of date nights at Nielsen’s. Jonathan did something funny. We had been bugging my sister about boys ever since they got here and this being their last night in town with us Jonathan decided it wasn’t going to be all of naught for Catey. He kept asking her if she thought any of the boys there were cute and silly Catey finally broke and told him she did have one she was looking at. Of course Jonathan wasted little time and almost the same moment the boy walked by our table he called him over. After an intensive interview and an overall look at the boy Jonathan decided he would be a decent pick for Catey. He promptly had the boy write his phone number down for Catey. Poor girl was mortified, but it wasn’t all bad. It turns out she and the boy have been talking ever since.
We had so much fun with my family and I was really sad to see them go. We tried to fit in as much as we could while they were here but it just wasn’t enough time. I guess we will just have to hold the rest of that until next time.
