All Things Griffin http://www.allthingsgriffin.com Just another WordPress weblog Fri, 04 May 2012 18:29:53 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.1.3 4 Months Old http://www.allthingsgriffin.com/2012/05/04/4-months-old http://www.allthingsgriffin.com/2012/05/04/4-months-old#comments Fri, 04 May 2012 18:29:17 +0000 Bekah http://www.allthingsgriffin.com/?p=372 I know I just did the progression post, but I still wanted to do a blog about how Aiden is doing now.  I have been getting a lot of encouragement from family members living out of state, so hopefully 3 posts in one day will make them happy for at least a few days.  :)   Alright so Aiden is now flipping over in both directions.  He has been doing this pretty regularly for the past few weeks.  You would think he would be satisfied with that for a while, but not my son.  He is already trying to figure out how to move to various  destinations and isn’t happy unless he is able to see everything.  Furthermore, he is sleeping mostly through the night except for the occasional talking he does.  I guess he gets that from me.  Oh well.  I suppose it is about time for me to suffer from my own talking in my sleep.  He wakes us up a few times each night with his sleeping babble.  Here are some pictures of him now.  :)

And yes, he is most certainly tougher than he looks.

Lastly, this next picture bothers me a bit.  I know I used it in my progression post, but he looks so mischievous.  We are going to have our hands full with this one.  :)

Anyway, so we were finally able to do the run this year.  This time our goal was to simply finish.  With me having Aiden 4 months ago and Jonathan busy picking up all the slack I have left him, we didn’t get a lot of time to get ready for the run.  But I would say our times of 55:38 and 55:39 are pretty good given that we ended up needing to take Aiden with us.  I never knew pushing a non-jogging stroller would be so difficult.  I can’t complain though, Jonathan pushed the stroller most of the way.  Also, his time was the slightly faster one.  Anyway, way to go sweetheart!!!  Ok, so here are a few pictures.

After We tried to get Aiden in there.  I guess we should have taken him out of the carseat.  Oh well.  We had a lot of fun doing this.  Hopefully we will be able to do it again next year!
